A Riddle
I am a vase that can be dropped
A diamond stone as strong as rock
As complex as a snowflake is
Impressionable as snow
I travel with you every place
You ever dare to go.
I am a beacon in disaster
A lighthouse in a storm
As versatile as water is
Beneath a waterfall.
I guide you like a butterfly
As a flower to rain
The pages of an open book
Unwrit with pain.
I settle like a little dove
Any place I can
Growing like a type of tree
In the middle of a man
(Root and branches miles wide
High and lonely as the skies).
I am a volcano spewing red
Lying on earth's broken bed
And when I overflow with fears
I spy crystal tears.
I am a little canvas drum
Beating to life's endless tune
Illuminating like the moon
The stillness of a darkened room.
And look - magic - when empowered
I open like a bunch of flowers!

The tool, the trumpet - man - his diamond...
What am I?
