Clematis
Queen of ramble
Vanilla tangle
Soft buttercup
On April amble
My flowers flow
Like sea-spray snow
O'er southern wall
Of chalk and yore
With sepal wings
Like butterfly
That butterflew
Into your heart
And settled still
Your sense of loss
With scented hue
Of chocolate
And butterscotch.
Queen of ramble
Vanilla tangle
Rare buttercup
On evening amble
My petals flow
Like silk and dove
With pale balms
Of milk and love
Down ancient view
To ocean blue
From heaven above
With mien as sweet
As one of Her Smiles
Queen of mine
(Flower I miss)
A friend to all
I'm a...?
What am I?
