Autobiography of a Madman
Autobiography of a Madman
She
She keeps her disappointments on a shelf
Inside a jar
Her grievances within
Come the end of time
Her troubles will begin.
Her heart once overflowed with tears
Bubbles from a champagne glass
Like snowflakes from a cloud of lead
Or stars from a nebula.
Now her hopes are fickle sand
Her fears the drastic tides
Her little self a shellfish
A lost life inside.
