Autobiography of a Madman

Rampage

Recall sun's blazing anarchy
When hearts rampaged across the sky?
Slow-quenching now in orange seas
Their erstwhile desires.

Till an altogether cooler moon
Rising from the squelching seas
Plays her graceful tune
On trembling bow and string.

The heart shines like the moon
Bright, o'er oceans full of time
Which tic and toc unevenly
And swell with each earth-tide.

Time, it knoweth not the heart
The heart, it knows not time
Subliminal, subluminal,
Yet suffers so sublime.
