What is Love?

A man’s rags

Will you keep my joys alive
My rags, my tatters
Have you seen a man’s life
Unravel with a string
of coloured beads
A sequence of experiences
And memorized moments?
Peculiarity of flesh
All selves are lies
And lies hurt those
Who tell them most
Do not pity the lame
But those who live
Without love
Life’s a lens
A telescope
When your time is over
It’s someone else’s turn to look
Let this poem stand
For the resplendent truth
From the resplendent heart
Palette of emotion
Spectrum of desire
Rainbows are bridges (in Heaven)
Diamonds, jewels
Flint, fire.
