Let me tell you how it is
You will get there quicker if I do
There are things I can tell you
And things that I cannot
And when you get there
You will tell me
If you are going in the right direction
It is good to travel slowly
If your heading is all wrong
Hope to trip quick
How can we carry another’s burden
As well as our own?
If theirs is heavier, put down yours
Let grace carry yours
Since I imagined it anyway
Let this be my imaginary mule
It is all we are sanctioned to do.
