Autobiography of a Madman

Eyes

Mine eyes, mine eyes, inside mine eyes
Another eye I see
As every minute layer comes off
Another 'I' there be.
More eyes than a peacock's tail
More eyes than drops of rain
More eyes than a galaxy of stars
Or neurons in a brain.
Yet through these eyes, there is one thing
One thing I cannot see
And that is how it is that you could
Possibly love me.
