Changing course

A tear curves a slow arc
And who can change
The nature of a drop?
A raindrop makes her own riverbed
Though she is persuaded by the world
To be yourself
You must change the world
It is easily done
It happens all the time!
That is why I say
A man is a canyon
Shaped by a lifetime of experience
Wonderful water!
It is easier to change the world
Than to change one man
Because every spirit
Carves its own course.
