Poetry has the power to comfort, inspire, educate, challenge, heal and fascinate us all. Through poetry we can express the inexpressible, understand the incomprehensible, find inspiration where there is despair, find joy where there is unhappiness, healing where there is hurt, expression where there is isolation, and enlightenment where today there is misunderstanding or intolerance. Sometimes simply knowing that someone else has walked our road before is enough.
